The trade-offs are that it is a franchise, so price and protocol are set studio by studio, and that the evidence underneath both the drip and the shot is thin to absent.

Restore Hyper Wellness is a nationwide wellness-studio franchise with 210+ locations. Its NAD⁺ offering comes in two forms: a full IV drip, and a much quicker intramuscular NAD⁺ shot. Some studios also offer Niagen, a patented nicotinamide riboside, as an IV drip or IM shot, sold as a shorter, gentler alternative to an NAD⁺ drip. Those sit on a broader studio menu alongside services such as cryotherapy and red-light therapy. It is a retail wellness business; the medical services are provided by an independently owned physician practice. IV and injectable NAD⁺ are compounded preparations, not FDA-approved products.

You book into a physical studio. Before a first NAD⁺ service you complete medical forms and a telemedicine visit with a nurse practitioner, then a registered nurse takes your vitals and administers the drip or shot on site. The IM shot is the practical differentiator: Restore puts it at under 15 minutes, against one to four hours for an NAD⁺ drip. Because locations are franchised, the experience is not uniform — staffing, exact protocols, dose options and which services are offered vary between studios. Treat the location you visit as the unit of quality, not the brand.

Obtain a local studio quote. NAD⁺ plans recur every 28 days; loading plans require six months and apply at the studio of purchase. General Level Up and Elevate credits expire after 100 days; Core credits expire monthly and do not cover IVs. General membership portability does not make a dedicated NAD⁺ plan portable. Confirm the chosen plan’s cancellation and refund agreement.

Compounded NAD⁺, delivered intravenously or intramuscularly; not FDA-approved, and not covered by insurance. Compounded sterile preparations are not FDA-reviewed for purity and potency the way an approved drug is.
