BeyondMD review
Peptide clinic with GLP-1 programs
A Michigan-based virtual clinic selling compounded and oral GLP-1 programs alongside peptide therapies, with a free membership and charges only after approval.
Our verdict
BeyondMD is a broad telehealth clinic that sells GLP-1s as one part of a larger catalog of peptide and wellness programs, and it's a reasonable option if you want compounded injections, oral tablets and brand-name consultations from one place. The free membership and the promise that you're charged only if approved lower the risk of trying it. The weak spot is price clarity. The product pages show starting figures without saying what period they cover, two different tirzepatide prices appear on the same site, and the oral semaglutide page quotes both $149 and $125. Its refund policy is clear but strict: once the pharmacy starts preparing your medication, the order can't be canceled or refunded.

BeyondMD began in 2009 as a brick-and-mortar medical clinic and later moved to a fully virtual model; it says it has cared for more than one million patients. It lists its address as 811 East Kent Road in Greenville, Michigan, with phone support six days a week. The website is run by Prescribery Corp., and the medical care comes from DTG II, PLC, doing business as BeyondMD, an independent medical group whose U.S.-licensed providers also prescribe for other telehealth brands. The named clinical team includes John Bernard, MD, a board-certified emergency physician, and nurse practitioners Hollie Ann Hall and Jordan Dorsey. Beyond weight loss, it sells programs for strength, aging, healing, skin, sexual health and cognition. It displays a LegitScript seal.
How it works
You pick a program and complete an online intake about your goals, history and current health. You then schedule a private telehealth consultation with a licensed clinician; depending on your state, this may be a live video visit. The provider reviews your answers and any labs, and if treatment is appropriate, sends the prescription to a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy. Medication usually arrives within five to seven business days with dosing and storage instructions, and you can track the order in the patient portal. The semaglutide program bundles the provider consultation, weight-loss coaching, an anti-nausea prescription (Zofran) and optional sessions with a weight-loss specialist and a certified nutritionist. Providers stay available for check-ins and dose adjustments, and the clinic offers lab panels. If you're unsure which program fits, it offers a complimentary consultation first.
Pricing transparency
The weight-management page lists compounded semaglutide injections starting at $125, compounded tirzepatide starting at $199, oral semaglutide starting at $149, oral tirzepatide starting at $249, an MIC and B12 program at $119, and consultation programs for Zepbound and Wegovy starting at $129. The tirzepatide page's own title says $209, and the oral semaglutide page mentions new pricing from $125 a month. The injection pages don't state whether their figures are monthly, so confirm the billing period and what happens to the price as your dose rises. Membership is free, and you're charged only if you're approved. The refund policy is dated September 2026: consultation fees are non-refundable once the visit starts, and medication orders can't be canceled once the pharmacy begins processing, except for errors or shipping problems. Recurring programs can be canceled before the next renewal.
Branded vs compounded
BeyondMD prescribes compounded semaglutide (plain or with vitamin B12), compounded tirzepatide, and oral versions of both as daily tablets, all prepared by licensed U.S. 503A compounding pharmacies, which it doesn't name. The Zepbound and Wegovy programs are consultations for the brand-name drugs, which the FDA has approved for chronic weight management; the program price covers the consult, and the drug is bought separately. Its disclosures say compounded products are not FDA-approved and that providers will review FDA-approved alternatives when they apply. Oral compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are a step further from the evidence, since the trial results belong to the brand-name injections and the approved Wegovy tablet. A search of the FDA warning-letter database under BeyondMD, its medical group and Prescribery returned no letters.

The evidence behind what BeyondMD prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- What the semaglutide weight-loss trials actually showed
STEP 1, STEP 4, and SELECT — the efficacy, the rebound, and the cardiovascular signal, read straight from the primary literature.
- Tirzepatide vs semaglutide for weight loss: what the trials actually support
Most comparisons are cross-trial. Only SURPASS-2 and SURMOUNT-5 randomized one drug against the other — here's the precise distinction.
- Compounded vs branded GLP-1: regulatory status, sourcing and the evidence
Compounded GLP-1 isn't FDA-approved, the shortage exception behind it ended in 2025, the FDA moved against mass-marketed copies in 2026, and the trial data belong to the branded product. Here's the precise picture.
