myRocky review

Brand-name route, check your state

A Canadian-founded telehealth company's U.S. service, prescribing brand-name Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro after labs, for a $99 consult plus $99 a month and the medication.

Our verdict

myRocky is a brand-name GLP-1 route, not a compounded one. Its clinicians can prescribe Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro after an online consultation and a lab test, and you can talk to them by chat, video or phone. The cost has three parts: a $99 first consultation, a $99 monthly program fee, and the medication itself, and the site doesn't make that last number easy to read, since its product cards show a price without the supply or the currency. The bigger question is whether it serves you at all. Its terms list 17 states for U.S. weight-loss care, its coverage page lists far more, and the only pharmacy named on the site is in Ontario, with no word on which pharmacy fills U.S. prescriptions. Refills renew automatically unless you pause them in time. If you're in one of the 17 states and want brand-name medication with labs and a reachable clinician, it's worth a look; confirm your state, the pharmacy and the medication price before you pay.

What it is

myRocky is the U.S. site of MyRocky Health Inc., a men's and general-health telehealth company founded in Canada; its footer names two subsidiaries, MyRocky Health Pharmacy Inc. and MyRocky Health Clinic Inc., and lists the pharmacy at an address in Mississauga, Ontario. The company says it's trusted by more than 300,000 users and sponsors Toronto sports teams. Besides weight loss it treats hair loss and sexual health, selling products such as finasteride, minoxidil foam, sildenafil and tadalafil. For weight loss it prescribes brand-name GLP-1s: its FAQ names Ozempic, Mounjaro and Wegovy, and its general FAQ also lists Rybelsus. Its terms of use say it offers weight-loss, sexual-health and hair-loss services to U.S. users in 17 states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington and Wyoming. A separate coverage page lists about 40 states as currently available and puts some of the same states under coming soon, so the terms are the safer guide.

How it works

You start with a BMI check and an online consultation covering your health history and goals, and you verify your identity with a government ID. A provider replies within 24 hours, and you can choose a chat, video or phone appointment; the terms say that if you don't book a live visit, care may be handled entirely through questionnaires and secure messaging. If you look like a candidate, the clinician sends a lab requisition, or you can upload recent results, and a prescription follows once they've reviewed them, with the chance to ask questions first. The site says medication arrives within one to two business days of being shipped, with free, discreet delivery. After that you get a check-in reminder every four weeks so your clinician can track progress and adjust your dose. The terms say that once a prescription is written you'll be told your options for filling it; the site doesn't name the pharmacy that fills U.S. orders.

Pricing transparency

The weight-loss FAQ sets out the fees: a $99 initial consultation, then the cost of the medication plus a $99 program fee charged monthly, which covers clinician access, new prescriptions and pharmacy counseling. The medication prices on the site are hard to read. The Ozempic page shows $1,409 and a card on the how-it-works page shows Wegovy at $229.99, neither saying what supply or currency the figure covers, so confirm the medication price before you commit. myRocky doesn't bill insurance; it gives you a detailed invoice to submit to your insurer for any reimbursement. You can cancel at any time to stop future charges, but monthly fees already charged aren't refunded, and refills renew automatically: once a refill has renewed it can't be canceled, so pause it in your account before the renewal date. The terms also allow a $45 service fee on a consultation you start but don't finish within seven days. The weight-loss page advertises a money-back guarantee covering consultation costs if you don't see results; read its conditions before relying on it.

Branded vs compounded

Every GLP-1 here is a brand-name, FDA-approved product: Ozempic (semaglutide, a weekly pen dosed from 0.25 mg up to 2 mg), Wegovy (semaglutide for weight management) and Mounjaro (tirzepatide), with Rybelsus tablets also listed. No compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is offered. Ozempic and Mounjaro are approved for type 2 diabetes, so a prescription for weight loss alone is off-label, while Wegovy carries the weight-management approval. Lab work before prescribing is standard here, which adds a step but gives your clinician a baseline. The FAQ lists the usual side effects (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea) and rarer serious ones such as pancreatitis and gallbladder disease. The site's weight-loss testimonials are paid, as it discloses.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

Watch-outs

  • U.S. weight-loss care limited to the states in its terms

Frequently asked

How much does myRocky cost for weight loss?
