NewSelf review

Low price, locked-in quarter

A compounded GLP-1 service advertised from $99.97/mo for semaglutide and $144.49/mo for tirzepatide at every dose, sold with a three-month commitment and strict refund terms.

Our verdict

NewSelf's prices are among the lower ones for compounded GLP-1s: semaglutide from $99.97 a month and tirzepatide from $144.49, at the same price for every dose, with no membership fee. It names its physician network and its pharmacies. What the product pages don't say is in the payment terms: the weight-loss programs require a three-month commitment, canceling early costs a full month at the retail price, and once the doctor visit is done the order can't be canceled or refunded. Its chargeback and collections terms are unusually aggressive, too. The FDA sent NewSelf a warning letter in February 2026. If you're confident you'll stay for three months, the price is good; if you're not, look elsewhere.

What it is

NewSelf Limited LLC is a technology platform that connects patients with independent providers; it says it doesn't offer medical or pharmacy services itself. Medical care is provided by NewSelf Affiliated P.C.s, and its partner page names MD Integrations, a physician network licensed in all 50 states, as its doctor network. The site lists a business address in Sheridan, Wyoming, while the FDA's letter went to an office in New York. NewSelf says it is a new company that treats more than 1,000 new patients a day and grows through referrals rather than advertising. It serves 48 states and Puerto Rico but not Louisiana or Mississippi. Besides weight loss, the site promotes longevity, brain-health and AI-assisted health-optimization products. It doesn't take insurance. It displays a LegitScript seal (ID 43278346). Its comparison chart against unnamed competitors is built partly from Reddit and review-site estimates, as its own footnote admits.

How it works

You take a short online quiz to pre-qualify, then a board-certified doctor from the affiliated network reviews your information and prescribes if appropriate; the site describes on-demand doctors and same-day visits. If you're approved, the prescription goes straight to a partner pharmacy, and medication is cold-packed and shipped overnight Monday through Thursday, with orders typically shipping within 72 hours. Because the programs supply three months of medication up front, you don't wait on monthly refills. After you start, ongoing support combines an AI assistant with nurses and the care team for questions, dose adjustments and check-ins. If a package is delayed, damaged or lost, NewSelf reships at no cost, but claims must be made within seven days. If you enter your address incorrectly, a reship costs $150.

Pricing transparency

Compounded semaglutide with B12 or glycine is $99.97 a month and compounded tirzepatide with B6 or glycine is advertised "as low as" $144.49 a month, both the same at every dose. There's no membership fee. The payment terms matter more than the headline. Payments run as monthly recurring subscriptions, but medical weight-loss programs require a three-month commitment whatever payment plan you choose, because three months of medication are provided up front. Interest-free monthly payment plans are available. If you cancel before the three months are up, you're charged an early cancellation fee equal to the full retail monthly price, which the site doesn't publish. Before your doctor consultation, you can ask by email to cancel and receive a refund minus a $99 administrative fee. After the consultation, the order is final and no refund is given, whatever its shipping status. If the doctor declines the prescription, you get a full refund. Changing your prescription after it reaches the pharmacy costs $150. A chargeback brings a $199 fee, and unpaid balances sent to collections carry a 50% surcharge.

Branded vs compounded

Compounded semaglutide with vitamin B12 or glycine and compounded tirzepatide with vitamin B6 or glycine, both weekly injections. No brand-name GLP-1 is sold. The site states that the medications are compounded by licensed pharmacies, aren't FDA-approved, and that no claim is made that they are equivalent to an FDA-approved product. Its partner page, dated September 2025, names Beaker Pharmacy in McKinney, Texas; Pharmaneek Pharmacy Services in Indianapolis; and Logos RX in Tampa. It says its 503A pharmacies use independent third-party testing for potency, sterility and endotoxins. The added vitamins and glycine aren't backed by trial evidence of better weight loss, and the outcome figures on the homepage come from its own members or from brand-name trials. In February 2026 the FDA sent NewSelf a warning letter after reviewing its website in December 2025. The agency said product images labeled "NewSelf" suggested the company was the compounder, and cited claims such as "Same active ingredient as Ozempic® & Wegovy®" that implied FDA approval. The letter is disclosed and linked on this page.

FDA warning letter on record

The FDA issued a warning letter naming NewSelf Limited dba NewSelf, the company behind NewSelf.

We publish this because it is a matter of public record and a reader weighing this provider should have it. A warning letter is the FDA setting out alleged violations; it is not a court finding, and a company may have responded or corrected since. It does not remove NewSelf from this site, and it does not change our verdict — read the letter and decide for yourself.
