Our verdict
Pomegranate offers clinician-guided weight care without a separate advertised membership, but its pricing flow currently carries sold-out notices for compounded options. Product pages and checkout information need reconciliation before ordering. Subscriptions renew automatically, pharmacy selection is not guaranteed, and cancellation and delivery-issue deadlines are strict. Confirm the exact available product and full recurring charge.
Confirm treatment availability before enrolling. Public listings do not establish that every product is currently available.
Main trade-offs
- Pricing flow carries compounded-product sold-out notices
- No-membership wording does not eliminate auto-renewal
Disclosure: Aminoscope is reader-supported. We may earn a commission from partner links, at no extra cost to you. This never changes our assessment. How we make money.
Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. A licensed clinician must assess whether treatment is appropriate; availability does not establish safety or benefit.
Good fit

Consider other options if
Patients who need immediate confirmed compounded fulfillment, a guaranteed chosen pharmacy or a refund-friendly trial.

Our review in detail
Full assessment
Pomegranate Health has a current clinician-guided weight-management proposition, but its public pages do not establish straightforward availability for every advertised treatment. The compounded tirzepatide product page still displays a starting offer and enrollment link, while the pricing flow carries sold-out notices referring to BPI on compounded cards. That discrepancy is the first issue a prospective patient should resolve. It does not prove that the entire practice has closed, or that every noncompounded weight-care option is unavailable. It does mean we would not use a compounded starting price as a currently purchasable monthly floor. The platform may appeal to someone who wants several kinds of prescription care through one account, but its combination of promotional no-membership language, subscription terms and pharmacy-selection fees warrants a written quote. Confirm the actual product, pharmacy and state eligibility before accepting a charge or planning a transfer from another prescriber.
What it is
The service presents Pomegranate Health as an online platform for weight management, longevity, skin, hair and men’s and women’s health. Weight care includes clinician review of health history and potential metabolic or weight-related concerns, rather than a guaranteed prescription following a purchase. The public service page describes an online intake and virtual provider encounter, with ongoing support and a dashboard for treatment information. Its broad catalog is not evidence that all categories share the same medical practice, appointment structure, pharmacy or price. The site uses language about regulated pharmacies and displays medication illustrations, but the compounded product page also warns that its image does not show the actual dispensed vial or label. The pharmacy should therefore be identified through the real order and prescription information. Its subscription terms expressly say Pomegranate cannot guarantee the source pharmacy because fulfillment depends on availability and clinical judgment.
How care works
A licensed medical provider determines eligibility using medical history, BMI and relevant conditions. The weight-loss FAQ says recent laboratory work or records may be requested in some cases, so a rapid intake should not be interpreted as an assurance that no testing will be needed. Ask who pays for outside labs and whether a new encounter or additional information is required before each refill. The service estimates pharmacy delivery after consultation and approval, but a product-specific stock issue can supersede a general shipping estimate. Establish whether the medicine offered in your patient portal is actually available, which pharmacy has accepted the prescription and when a clinical question will receive an answer. The public customer-support schedule is extensive, yet customer-service hours do not establish immediate clinician access. For continuity, obtain a plan for what happens if the selected compounded option remains unavailable rather than waiting until an existing supply runs out. The most useful next step is an availability answer tied to an exact product and pharmacy, not a general assurance that enrollment is open. Ask whether the stock notice applies only to one supplier, what alternative is actually offered and whether that alternative changes price. A willingness to review an intake is different from a confirmed prescription supply.
Costs, billing and cancellation
The tirzepatide page advertises a starting $159 monthly figure and says review, medication and delivery are included. The pricing flow’s BPI sold-out notices and possible additional shipping for Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico prevent treating that figure as a universal deliverable total. The selected product’s dose, supply, renewal amount and pharmacy must be confirmed first. No separate membership requirement also does not mean no recurring payment: the subscription terms describe automatic renewal for the selected period. They require cancellation through support at least 24 hours before the current period ends and describe account controls for managing a plan. An appointment canceled within 24 hours can incur a $25 fee. Membership, one-time consultation and medication fees are described as nonrefundable. The same terms say a request to specify a pharmacy incurs a $150 coordination fee and still does not guarantee that pharmacy has inventory or capacity. Delivery, pharmacy or product problems must be reported within 24 hours under the policy. Preserve the actual order confirmation and obtain the charge and cancellation dates in writing.
Medication and evidence
Pomegranate currently lists compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as well as other prescription weight-care options. A product appearing in the catalog does not establish an approved indication for every patient or availability in every state. Its own compounded-product disclosure says those preparations have not been FDA-reviewed or approved for safety, effectiveness or quality. Promotional wording about a licensed manufacturer or regulated pharmacy should not be confused with approval of the dispensed compounded medicine. If a clinician offers an alternative route because of availability, ask for its exact product name, formulation, indication and separate pharmacy price before deciding. Do not assume an oral option is clinically equivalent to an injection or that a compounded preparation is interchangeable with a branded product. The service page also includes unrelated skin and hair ingredient sections, which makes it less reliable as a concise medication specification. Use the actual prescription, pharmacy label and individualized instructions for concentration, storage and administration. A fully itemized, presently fulfillable plan matters more than the lowest catalog card.
