What it is

A broad men's and women's telehealth service, founded by Dr. Simal Patel, MD, who describes years as a physician in emergency rooms, clinics and telemedicine before starting it, and who is quoted by name, as founder and CEO, on the semaglutide page. The company, Strut Health, LLC, publishes a street address at 701 Commerce St, Dallas, Texas, which a surprising number of competitors omit. Weight loss is one of eight categories rather than the whole business, and the site says it prescribes established generics alongside compounded preparations, adjusting dose, ingredients and format per patient. Strut says it holds LegitScript accreditation; ask for the certificate number if that matters to you.

How it works

Mostly asynchronous. You complete a short online questionnaire about your health, a U.S. board-certified physician reviews it, and if treatment is appropriate the prescription is filled by a licensed U.S. pharmacy and shipped free in discreet packaging; the FAQ says orders typically arrive within two business days of shipping. Some states require a phone consultation, and the FAQ says physicians can treat by secure chat, phone or video, with physician messaging available from your account. Strut ships to every state except Arkansas, and notes that certain medications are not available in all states. Four commitments are stated flatly rather than hedged: the online MD visit costs nothing, follow-up care and dose adjustments cost nothing extra, shipping is free with no exceptions, and plans run month to month with no cancellation fee. That last point matters more than it sounds in a category where the cheapest headline prices are usually annual prepayments. The trade-off is the model itself: no scheduled appointment by default, and a generalist rather than an obesity-medicine specialist reading your intake.

Pricing transparency

The homepage prices nothing; the product pages price everything. Compounded semaglutide is $129 a month as a once-weekly injection and compounded tirzepatide $149 a month, both on the auto-refill plan, which the product pages say saves 13% and 14% against a one-off order. The oral semaglutide lozenge is shown two ways: "as low as $99/mo" on auto-refill on its own page, and $199 for a 30-day supply on the semaglutide overview, so confirm which applies at checkout. A daily oral tirzepatide is $199. Strut states that the price includes physician consultations and free shipping, so there is no second charge sitting behind the first, and auto-refill is a monthly plan you can pause, delay or cancel. The FAQ asks for 48 hours' notice before an order is processed, and the refund policy says nothing can be refunded once the pharmacy has processed the order; only defective or damaged items are replaced, if reported within two weeks. What the pricing costs you is a click: a reader who stops at the homepage sees the categories and no prices at all.

Branded vs compounded

Compounded semaglutide in two formats, a once-weekly subcutaneous injection and a daily buccal lozenge that dissolves between cheek and gum, plus compounded tirzepatide as a weekly injection or a daily oral form. A PeptideVite supplement is sold to pair with a GLP-1, and it is a supplement, not a prescription drug. Strut's disclaimer is unambiguous and appears at the foot of its own pages: compounded drug products are not approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness or quality by the FDA. The semaglutide page publishes the common side effects plainly, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, fatigue, headache and injection-site reactions. Beyond the GLP-1s the same account carries enclomiphene and testosterone care, a four-active ED tablet, dutasteride and oral minoxidil for hair, tretinoin for skin, and sermorelin ($119 a month injectable, $99 oral) and NAD⁺ on the peptide side, none of which carry the GLP-1s' outcome evidence. At-home lab panels start at $89 for key hormones and $189 for 55-plus biomarkers.
