How it works

Test first, then decide — a sequence Rugiet enforces rather than recommends. You start with a blood draw covering twelve biomarkers for a $69 lab fee that also includes an online video call with a licensed clinician to review the results, then complete a roughly five-minute health assessment, then talk to a board-certified physician who interprets the panel and recommends a plan if you are eligible. Rugiet states it does not accept outside bloodwork, so a recent panel from your own doctor will not shortcut the process — stricter than most competitors, and defensible on the grounds it gives, that comparing results measured the same way avoids introducing variables. Ongoing care is described as ongoing labs to track biomarkers, unlimited provider follow-ups, dose adjustments and treatment switches until the plan works, all inside the plan price. It also takes an explicit position on borderline results: men who are symptomatic but marginally above the clinical threshold are assessed on the full picture rather than turned away, which is a real clinical stance and one worth weighing in both directions. Pricing transparency

Two numbers, both published. The baseline lab draw is $69 and includes the twelve-biomarker panel and the clinician video call to interpret it — priced openly, which is right, since it is the step that determines whether you should be on therapy at all. Plans then start at $139 a month, and Rugiet's structure here is the part worth understanding: it is one flat, all-inclusive price for every medication in the line, so choosing between injections, cream and enclomiphene is a clinical decision rather than a budget one, with ongoing lab fees stated as included in the plan. On a board where monitoring is routinely priced separately and quietly, folding ongoing labs into a flat monthly rate is the single most consequential inclusion. Two things to confirm before subscribing. First, what the $139 tier contains versus higher tiers, since "start at" implies a ladder. Second, the refund position, which its record describes as restrictive — refunds only before medication is ordered, with prorated refunds on bundles. Note also that Rugiet's weight-loss product is a compounded oral bupropion-naltrexone-metformin combination rather than a GLP-1, and its ED and sleep products are priced separately; none of those figures is a testosterone price.

Branded vs compounded

Testosterone cypionate and testosterone therapy generally have the strongest evidence base of anything in this batch — a large randomised safety record including a dedicated cardiovascular outcomes trial — and correspondingly real obligations: it suppresses your own production and fertility, raises haematocrit in a meaningful minority of men, and requires ongoing haematocrit, PSA and testosterone monitoring, which is exactly why a plan with labs included and a mandatory baseline panel is structured the right way round. Enclomiphene is the opposite trade: it raises endogenous testosterone by blocking oestrogen feedback at the pituitary and preserves fertility, but it is not FDA-approved for that use and is prescribed as a compounded product, so it is not reviewed by the FDA for purity and potency the way approved drugs are.
