Urolithin A has the stronger human record: a first-in-human safety study plus multiple placebo-controlled RCTs that reproducibly improved muscle endurance and mitochondrial biomarkers, though the headline strength and power primary endpoints missed significance and the main muscle trials were sponsored by the maker of Mitopure. NR and NMN are well established as bioavailable and reliably raise blood NAD+, but that is a biomarker rather than an outcome, and no trial shows they slow aging or prevent disease. Both are well tolerated, they have not been compared head to head, and neither is proven to extend healthspan.

NAD⁺ precursors fits if

Someone who wants the most-studied way to raise NAD+ itself and is comfortable betting on a plausible mechanism with a measured biomarker rather than a demonstrated benefit.

Urolithin A fits if
