EOS Health review

Flat price, named pharmacies

A flat-priced compounded GLP-1 service from a California telehealth company: $169/mo for semaglutide or $299/mo for tirzepatide on the one-month plan, the same at any dose.

Our verdict

EOS Health offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide at one price whatever your dose, from a company that is unusually specific about who is involved. On the one-month plan, semaglutide is $169 a month and tirzepatide $299, with the medication, clinician care and shipping included; a welcome credit lowers the first order, and three- and six-month plans lower the monthly rate. It names its clinical group and four of its compounding pharmacies, and it displays a LegitScript seal. The trade-offs are the usual ones for cash-pay compounding: no brand-name drugs, no refunds except for a medical disqualification, and a 72-hour notice period to cancel before the next charge.

What it is

EOS Health LLC is a California telehealth company that sells weight-loss care alongside men's health, women's health and menopause treatment, longevity peptides and skin care. Its founder, John Ellis, describes a decade as a health and wellness executive. Clinical care comes from Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC, a medical group with an office in Seattle, and the company names four of the 503A pharmacies it uses: GoGoMeds in Southgate, Kentucky; The Pharmacy Hub in Miami Gardens, Florida; Hallandale Pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Strive Compounding Pharmacy in Gilbert, Arizona. Which one fills your order depends on the medication and your state. Its service-area page lists all 50 states and D.C. It is cash-pay only and doesn't take Medicare or Medicaid. Because other businesses use the name, EOS Health publishes a brand page explaining that it is not connected to EoS Fitness or to the former diabetes company EosHealth, Inc. It displays a LegitScript seal (ID 50446645).

How it works

You start with a short online questionnaire about your health history, lifestyle and goals. A licensed clinician reviews it and decides whether you're a candidate; EOS Health says care happens through HIPAA-compliant video and secure messaging. You choose your medication, formulation and plan at the start, but you aren't charged unless a clinician prescribes. If you're approved, the medication ships free and discreetly from a partner pharmacy, and your care team stays available for questions as you go. Your clinician sets the starting dose and adjusts it over time. The company also offers a Help Center and a phone line, (844) 4-EOS-LIFE. The questionnaire includes a BMI calculator, but EOS Health is clear that eligibility is decided by the clinician during intake, not by the number alone.

Pricing transparency

The weight-loss page lets you pick the medication, formulation and plan length and shows the price for each. Compounded semaglutide on the one-month plan is $149 for the first month and $169 a month after that; on a three-month plan it's $129 then $149 a month, and on a six-month plan $99 then $129. Compounded tirzepatide is $269 then $299 a month on one month, $219 then $249 on three, and $179 then $229 on six. The lower first-period figures come from a welcome credit applied automatically to your first order. Adding glycine or B12 to either drug doesn't change the price, and the price stays the same at any dose. Everything is included: clinician care, medication and expedited shipping. You can cancel by email or through the patient portal chat, but the request must arrive at least 72 hours before your billing date, or you'll be charged once more and the cancellation takes effect the following cycle. If a clinician disqualifies you for a medical reason, you get a full refund; otherwise no refund is issued on cancellation, and returned medication can't be accepted. Damaged or incorrect items are replaced by the pharmacy.

Branded vs compounded

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide by weekly injection, each available plain or combined with glycine or vitamin B12. EOS Health's safety information says these are compounded by licensed 503A pharmacies and that the FDA does not review or approve compounded medications for safety, effectiveness or quality. The added glycine and B12 are a marketing choice rather than an evidence-based upgrade: no trial has shown that combining them with a GLP-1 improves weight loss. The results the page cites, such as 15% to 20% average weight loss after a year, come from trials of brand-name semaglutide and tirzepatide, not from compounded versions or EOS Health's own patients. The testimonials use models, which the site discloses. No brand-name GLP-1 is sold. A search of the FDA warning-letter database for EOS Health found no letters.

Pros and watch-outs

What we like

  • Medication, clinician care and shipping included
  • Clinical group and four compounding pharmacies named, with addresses
  • No charge unless a clinician prescribes; medical disqualification is refunded

Is EOS Health legit?
EOS Health is a GLP-1 telehealth service you reach through an online questionnaire, an online intake a clinician reviews and a video visit with a clinician. The medications it names are Compounded semaglutide and Compounded tirzepatide. Its stated availability: All 50 states and D.C. What it publishes up front: $169/mo compounded semaglutide or $299/mo tirzepatide on the 1-month plan, same at any dose, medication included; lower on 3- and 6-month plans. It is cash-pay and states it does not bill insurance. It shows a LegitScript seal. Ask the company for its certificate number before you rely on it. Those are the provider's own published claims rather than checks we could run ourselves, so get the ones that matter to you confirmed in writing before you pay.
Is EOS Health expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth providers?
EOS Health publishes a starting figure of $169/mo. Across the 61 GLP-1 telehealth providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $299 with a median of $179, which puts EOS Health below the median, toward the cheaper end. The other 61 GLP-1 telehealth providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
