Ozari Health review

By Aminoscope editorial desk · Aminoscope

Named pharmacies, distinct plans

Our verdict

Ozari separates a lower-cost quarterly plan from a more flexible Select plan with named pharmacy options. Monthly Select costs $175 for semaglutide or $235 for tirzepatide. The $86 and $125 headlines require quarterly payment and exclude California. Early cancellation of longer prepaid plans reprices used months, while pharmacy-transmitted orders become nonrefundable.

Main trade-offs

  • Lowest rates require quarterly prepayment
  • One plan does not allow pharmacy choice

Our review in detail

Full assessment

Ozari Health offers a comparatively useful explanation of what changes when a patient selects a lower headline price. Its One plan narrows the formulation and pharmacy options and requires quarterly payment, while Select offers more choice and actual monthly billing. The $86 semaglutide and $125 tirzepatide figures on the homepage are quarterly equivalents, with $258 or $375 collected upfront. A patient who needs monthly billing should compare Select at $175 for semaglutide or $235 for tirzepatide. This distinction makes Ozari easier to evaluate than a price card without a purchase total. The important remaining questions concern the clinical reason for compounding, the assigned pharmacy and the refund consequences of ordering a long supply. Our assessment concerns the published service and does not verify prescription fulfillment or treatment outcomes.

What it is

Ozari describes its role as an administrative platform connecting patients with independent clinicians and regulated pharmacies. It does not itself practice medicine or dispense medication. That separation is important when deciding where to take a billing question, a symptom report or a concern about the vial. Its two plans are not different medicines solely because they have different prices: the same clinical team is described for both, with the differences concentrated in formulation, pharmacy and payment choices. One uses preparations with B12 and assigns a pharmacy from its listed network. Select describes B12, glycine or no-additive formulations, subject to a clinician determining suitability. A patient preference is useful context, but the medical reason for a particular preparation should be discussed independently of a checkout selection. Adding a vitamin or amino acid does not establish that a compounded injection is clinically superior or appropriate for everyone who requests it.

How care works

Enrollment begins with a health questionnaire, followed by licensed-physician review and shipment when prescribed. Ozari describes a concierge and continuing clinical support for progress review and dose adjustments. Ask which concerns go to an administrative concierge and which reach the prescriber, and obtain an expected clinical response time. The lower-cost One network lists Absolute Rx, Liberty Compounding Pharmacy and White Label Pharmacy, with assignment based on availability rather than patient choice. Select names Hallandale or VialsRx according to formulation and geography. These are concrete names to verify against the prescription label, not a guarantee that every named pharmacy can serve every state or preparation. The pricing page specifically excludes California from One, despite broader nationwide messaging elsewhere. Patients in California should obtain a Select quote and confirm the actual pharmacy before paying. People changing between plans should also ask whether the concentration, instructions or next shipment date will change. Keeping the same molecule name does not ensure that an old syringe-volume instruction remains correct for a new vial.

Costs, billing and cancellation

Select’s semaglutide options are $175 monthly, $435 quarterly, $720 semiannually and $1,188 annually. Tirzepatide Select is $235 monthly, $597 quarterly, $1,050 semiannually or $1,680 annually. The longer plans are upfront purchases rather than installments of the displayed monthly equivalent. The policy says six- and twelve-month supplies are dispensed in quarterly installments with further approvals, not all delivered at once. Early cancellation recalculates used months at the standard monthly rate and refunds any remaining balance; the amount recovered can therefore be smaller than a simple unused-month calculation suggests. Once a prescription is approved and sent to the pharmacy, that shipment and its related charges are final, even before delivery and even if unopened. The clinical-denial refund applies before a prescription is issued or transmitted. Ask for the next processing date, since canceling on a nominal billing date may be too late. The policy recommends texting promptly for cancellation problems because email may not be read before transmission. For someone uncertain about continuing treatment, the lower annual equivalent should be compared with the amount that would remain refundable after one quarterly shipment. Ask Ozari to demonstrate that calculation using the selected product and standard monthly rate. This is especially useful when deciding whether a larger upfront payment is worthwhile before the first clinical follow-up has taken place.

Medication and evidence

Ozari labels its semaglutide and tirzepatide products as compounded, unapproved finished preparations. It also distinguishes them from the approved branded medicines that contain the same named molecules. This matters when evaluating the homepage’s weight-loss percentage: a general treatment statistic is not a study of the specific preparation sent to a particular patient. The review should focus on the intended injection, the complete ingredient list, the pharmacy and the individualized rationale for that product. Ask what happens if the clinician later recommends a different formulation or stopping treatment, especially after an annual payment. A longer financial term should not determine how long a patient continues a medicine. Ozari’s named networks and explicit totals make a detailed conversation possible. They do not replace reviewing the prescriber’s plan, the pharmacy’s storage and beyond-use instructions, or the commercial terms for each separate shipment before authorizing the order.

Frequently asked

What is behind the $86 semaglutide price?
It is $258 paid upfront every three months on Ozari One, with B12 and an assigned pharmacy. This plan is not available in California.
What happens if an annual plan ends early?
The policy recalculates used months at the standard monthly rate and refunds any remaining balance, while already transmitted shipments are final.
Is Ozari Health legit?
Ozari Health is a GLP-1 telehealth service. The medications it names are Compounded semaglutide and Compounded tirzepatide. Its stated availability: Select advertised in all 50 states; One excludes California. What it publishes up front: Monthly Select: semaglutide $175/tirzepatide $235; One quarterly $258/$375 upfront, unavailable in California. It is cash-pay and states it does not bill insurance. Before you pay, ask in writing about how its intake works.
Is Ozari Health expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth providers?
Ozari Health publishes a starting figure of $175/mo. Across the 119 GLP-1 telehealth providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $399 with a median of $179, which puts Ozari Health below the median, toward the cheaper end. The other 196 GLP-1 telehealth providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
