Peak Wellness review
Flat-rate compounded, next-day shipping
Compounded semaglutide at $249 a month after a $179 first month, and tirzepatide at $349 after $279, with medication, supplies and next-day shipping included. All 50 states.
Our verdict
Peak Wellness keeps the offer simple: compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide at one price for every dose, with medication, supplies, provider oversight and next-day air shipping included, no insurance and no membership fee. It's also open about who's behind it. The site names its provider group, DrTelX, lists the clinicians, and identifies the pharmacy that fills about 99% of orders, Emerald Compounding Pharmacy in Tampa, with its license number. The real monthly price is $249 for semaglutide and $349 for tirzepatide after a discounted first month, which is higher than some rivals, and the prominent "start for $179" message refers only to that first month. All sales are final, and the terms bar refunds of any fees, so count on paying for any month that has started.

Peak Wellness, LLC is a cash-pay telehealth company with a mailing address in Sheridan, Wyoming. Its terms describe it as a referral platform: it doesn't practice medicine or dispense drugs. Medical care comes from DrTelX, a provider group that Peak says has board-certified physicians licensed in all 50 states; the site names its medical director, Dr. Scott Sanderson, plus three other physicians and two nurse practitioners, and the name of the provider who approves your order is emailed to you. Prescriptions go to 503A compounding pharmacies, with most filled by Emerald Compounding Pharmacy, which holds a Florida license. Epiq Scripts, Southend Pharmacy and AbsoluteRX are also listed, each with contact details. Peak doesn't participate in Medicare, Medicaid or any insurance plan. It serves adults 18 and older, displays a LegitScript seal, and says it has served more than 50,000 people.
How it works
You fill out an online intake and health questionnaire, which takes five to ten minutes, then choose the medication you want at checkout. Submit it between 8am and 2pm Eastern on a weekday and nine in ten forms are reviewed the same day, by a board-certified physician; later submissions are reviewed the next day, and weekend forms go first on Monday. Your card is only authorized at checkout. If you're approved, the charge is finalized and your order goes to the pharmacy, which usually compounds it within about 24 hours; it then ships FedEx next-day air in discreet packaging. If you're denied, the hold drops off within five to seven days. The whole process typically takes about a week. Afterward you get regular check-ins, dose adjustments, a dose assistant in your online account that shows how much to draw, and support by email. Questions for your provider are routed through Peak's support team.
Pricing transparency
Compounded semaglutide is $179 for the first month on the monthly plan, then $249 a month with no commitment. Compounded tirzepatide is $279 for the first month, then $349 a month. Longer plans lower the monthly cost: semaglutide is $199 a month on a 3-month plan and $165 a month on a 6-month plan, and tirzepatide is $279 a month billed every three months ($837) or $232 a month billed every six months ($1,397). The site also promotes the 6-month plan as six months for the price of four. Every plan includes the medication at any dose, injection supplies, provider oversight and free next-day air shipping, with no pharmacy or lab fees. You can cancel, pause or skip through your account or by email, with changes taking effect at the next billing cycle. Plans renew automatically. Prescription products can't be returned and all sales are final, and the terms state that fees aren't refundable in whole or in part. HSA and FSA cards work, and payment plans are offered.
Branded vs compounded
Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide as weekly injections, prepared for each patient by a 503A compounding pharmacy following USP compounding standards. Peak's footer states that compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The site's weight-loss figures, 15% to 20% for semaglutide and 20% to 22% for tirzepatide, are drawn from clinical trials of the brand-name versions; compounded products weren't tested in those trials. There are no brand-name drugs, oral options or other treatments on the menu. A search of the FDA warning-letter database for Peak Wellness, its web address and DrTelX returned no letters.

The evidence behind what Peak Wellness prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- What the semaglutide weight-loss trials actually showed
STEP 1, STEP 4, and SELECT — the efficacy, the rebound, and the cardiovascular signal, read straight from the primary literature.
- Tirzepatide vs semaglutide for weight loss: what the trials actually support
Most comparisons are cross-trial. Only SURPASS-2 and SURMOUNT-5 randomized one drug against the other — here's the precise distinction.
- 503A vs 503B compounding pharmacies: what the difference actually buys you
Both make drugs the FDA has never approved. Only one must meet CGMP, gets inspected on a schedule, and appears in a public table with its inspection outcomes.

- Is Peak Wellness legit?
- Peak Wellness is a GLP-1 telehealth service you reach through an online questionnaire and an online intake a clinician reviews. The medications it names are Compounded semaglutide and Compounded tirzepatide. Its stated availability: All 50 states. What it publishes up front: Compounded semaglutide $249/mo after a $179 first month, tirzepatide $349/mo after $279, all-inclusive. It is cash-pay and states it does not bill insurance. It shows a LegitScript seal. Ask the company for its certificate number before you rely on it. Those are the provider's own published claims rather than checks we could run ourselves, so get the ones that matter to you confirmed in writing before you pay.
- Is Peak Wellness expensive compared with other GLP-1 telehealth providers?
- Peak Wellness publishes a starting figure of $249/mo. Across the 87 GLP-1 telehealth providers we review that publish a single monthly figure, those run $49 to $399 with a median of $190, which puts Peak Wellness above the median. The other 101 GLP-1 telehealth providers we review quote only after an intake or price by dose, so they are not in that comparison. A starting figure is not a bill — labs, consultations and shipping are often charged separately, so confirm what your own quote includes.
