Roboclinic review

By Aminoscope editorial desk · Aminoscope

AI and care separated

Our verdict

Roboclinic offers a prescription pathway as well as paid AI features. The useful comparison is the clinician-led medication program’s actual charge and renewal terms, not the much smaller AI subscription price.

Main trade-offs

  • Discounted rates lack clear plan totals
  • Typical ongoing price not assigned to every product

Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. A licensed clinician must assess whether treatment is appropriate; availability does not establish safety or benefit.

Our review in detail

Full assessment

Roboclinic supports a separate clinical GLP-1 pathway through professionals affiliated with OpenLoop. It may be worth comparing for tablet and injection options, provided the quoted treatment price, plan length and medical-disqualification refund are settled first.

What it is

Roboclinic is operated by BrickFi, Inc. Its terms distinguish the platform from medical practice and drug dispensing. Alongside an informational AI chatbot, the weight-management program describes assessment, licensed-doctor review, conditional prescribing and pharmacy delivery. AI output itself is not a clinical consultation or a substitute for diagnosis and treatment.

Home and program disclaimers attribute medical consultations, eligibility decisions and prescriptions to licensed professionals affiliated with OpenLoop Health. That identifies a network relationship without fully resolving the state-specific treating practice or assigned professional. Ask which practice is responsible for prescriptions, refills and clinical concerns.

The terms list RedRock Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine and Triad Rx as pharmacy partners, while the program describes fulfillment coordinated through OpenLoop. The list does not assign a particular pharmacy to your medicine. These relationships and any licensing claims are attributed disclosures, not independently validated credentials.

How care works

The clinical program advertises an AI-guided assessment followed by physician review, a treatment plan, ongoing support and medication delivery when prescribed. Clinical approval is conditional; completing a questionnaire does not guarantee a prescription. Confirm how to reach a treating professional and how refill decisions are made.

The platform markets availability in all fifty states and DC but also warns that some services are unavailable in some locations. This is not a complete GLP-1 or pharmacy service roster. The terms refer to adulthood or jurisdictional guardian-consent requirements; they do not establish a dedicated program treating minors. Verify age and location eligibility for the specific treatment.

The program is cash-pay, with medical review and medication paid out of pocket. HSA/FSA eligibility is advertised but requires individual confirmation. Program inclusions mention review, a prescription, medication and delivery; the subscription policy allows covered services, labs and medicines to vary. Do not assume all laboratory work or supplies are included.

Privacy terms cover health history, images, chat transcripts, consultation and prescription data as well as device, location and payment information. They allow necessary sharing with clinicians, pharmacies and vendors, and discuss improving AI using de-identified or aggregated data where possible. They therefore do not promise that chat data is never used to improve AI. A separate privacy-practices notice describes clinical information uses and patient rights; neither notice is an independent compliance audit.

Costs, billing and cancellation

The GLP-1 program advertises semaglutide injections at $129 per month beside $169, semaglutide tablets at $169 beside $199, and tirzepatide injections at $189 beside $279. It also promotes extended-plan savings, consultation, prescriptions and delivery. The hero pairs $129 and $169 with a one-month-supply description, but the exact conditions of the lower offer remain unclear.

The FAQ says treatment starts at $129 and ongoing care is typically $169 per month, with lower monthly amounts possible on multi-month plans. It does not clearly assign that ongoing price to every drug and dosage form. Nor does it resolve whether $129 is an introductory rate, an extended-plan average or both. Specific extended-plan lengths, totals and prepayment requirements are not established, so the discounted cards should not be assumed to describe month-to-month billing.

The AI service has separate prices: Pro is $9.99 recurring monthly or $99.99 recurring yearly, and a twenty-question bundle is $6.99 once. Those payments do not establish medication access, a doctor-visit price or a GLP-1 treatment budget. The annual amount is an annual charge rather than a monthly bill.

The refund policy also describes clinical subscriptions, saying the first month is charged when intake is completed and membership automatically renews. The program conditions medication on clinician approval. Confirm the authorization sequence, treatment-specific renewal interval and refund if approval is declined before completing intake.

Cancellation instructions mention the account, app store or support and advise action twenty-four to forty-eight hours before renewal. The AI Pro app-store terms separately require at least twenty-four hours. These AI and clinical rules overlap without establishing one definitive medication-program cutoff. Ask for the clinical deadline and whether an order already processing can be stopped.

Medical-disqualification refunds are described inconsistently as a full refund, a remaining balance or a refund that may be issued. Other clinical subscription cancellations are generally nonrefundable, and damaged or incorrect medication may qualify for replacement. The discretionary seven-day refund language applies to minimally used AI premium features and excludes renewals and upgrades; it is not a seven-day medication guarantee. Approved-refund processing is estimated at five to ten business days.

Medication and evidence

The program explicitly advertises compounded semaglutide injections, semaglutide tablets and tirzepatide injections. It states that compounded products are not FDA approved. Exact strengths, additives, dispensed quantities and product-specific directions remain unclear.

The tablet option does not establish equivalence to an FDA-approved oral product, a particular absorption technology or interchangeable dosing with an injection. Obtain the exact formulation and pharmacy instructions for the proposed prescription. Neither the AI subscription nor a list of pharmacy partners resolves product suitability.
