ZipHealth review
Brand-name only, quick online Rx
An online doctor service for brand-name Zepbound, Wegovy and Foundayo at the makers' self-pay prices, from $149 a month for pills, plus a $79 fee per treatment. 19 states.
Our verdict
ZipHealth is a quick way to get a prescription for authentic brand-name weight-loss medicine without insurance. You fill out a questionnaire, a provider usually decides within 24 hours, and the drug ships from Novo Nordisk's or Eli Lilly's own pharmacy program at their self-pay prices. Expect to pay the drug price plus a $79 fee each time: the Wegovy pill and Foundayo start at $149 a month, the Wegovy pen at $199 for its first two doses, and Zepbound at $299. It's a reasonable fit if you want the manufacturer route with the prescription handled for you. The limits: only 19 states, no insurance, little ongoing coaching, and once the drug ships, delivery problems and refunds are handled by the manufacturer's pharmacy, not ZipHealth. If you already have a prescriber, ordering straight from the manufacturer's program avoids the $79 fee.

ZipHealth Services Inc. operates an online prescribing service for weight loss, erectile dysfunction, migraine, herpes and a few other conditions, and says it has served more than 560,000 customers. Its partner pharmacy, ZipHealth Inc., is licensed by the Florida Department of Health and based in Delray Beach, Florida; for the brand-name weight-loss drugs, though, the prescription is filled and shipped by the manufacturers' programs, which ZipHealth names as NovoCare and LillyDirect. Clinical care comes from ZipHealth Provider Group, an independent physician-owned medical group; the site names a lead prescriber, a board-certified physician and a board-certified nurse practitioner, with their license or NPI numbers. ZipHealth shows a LegitScript certification badge linked to LegitScript's lookup for its domain. Levity, a sister brand that sold GLP-1 programs, closed its subscription service and moved its customers here.
How it works
You start an online consultation, answering questions about your health, medications and goals; there's no appointment, though some states require a short video call before prescribing. You also verify your identity once with a photo ID and a selfie. A licensed provider reviews your answers and, if a branded GLP-1 is appropriate, prescribes it, usually within 24 hours. Adults with a BMI of 25 or higher may be eligible for branded medication, subject to the provider's decision. The prescription goes to Novo Nordisk for Wegovy or to Eli Lilly for Zepbound and Foundayo, which contact you, take payment for the drug and ship it. ZipHealth says your provider adjusts your dose as you progress and offers ongoing care, but it doesn't describe scheduled check-ins or coaching. Customer care runs through a help center and chat, with replies within a day. If the manufacturer rejects a prescription or a delivery goes missing, ZipHealth directs you to that company's support line.
Pricing transparency
You pay two things: the manufacturer's self-pay price for the drug and ZipHealth's $79 clinical service and support fee for each treatment, charged to new and repeat patients alike. Listed drug prices are: the Wegovy pill from $149 a month at 1.5 mg and 4 mg and $299 at 9 mg and 25 mg; the Wegovy pen from $199 at 0.25 mg and 0.5 mg and $349 at 1 mg to 2.4 mg; Zepbound KwikPen from $299 at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5 mg to 15 mg; and Foundayo from $149 at 0.8 mg, $199 at 2.5 mg and $299 at higher doses. ZipHealth calls these estimates, with the final price confirmed by the pharmacy, and the weight-loss page also advertises programs from $149 a month without explaining how they differ from the branded options. You can cancel with a full refund up until a prescription is approved; if no prescription is issued, all fees are refunded. Once it's prescribed, the $79 fee isn't refundable, and refunds for the drug follow the manufacturer pharmacy's policy. Insurance isn't accepted.
Branded vs compounded
Brand-name medication only: Zepbound (tirzepatide) as a weekly KwikPen, the Wegovy pen (semaglutide) weekly, the Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide) daily, and Foundayo (orforglipron), a daily GLP-1 tablet with no fasting rules. All four are FDA-approved for weight management, and Wegovy is also approved to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with heart disease and excess weight. ZipHealth prescribes Wegovy, not Ozempic, for weight loss. No compounded GLP-1 is listed. Each product carries the maker's boxed warning about thyroid tumors in rodent studies. A search of the FDA warning-letter database for ZipHealth returned no letters.

The evidence behind what ZipHealth prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- The Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide 25 mg): what OASIS 4 actually showed
The first oral GLP-1 approved for weight loss — and why the −16.6% everyone quotes is not the trial's primary result.
- Orforglipron: the oral non-peptide GLP-1, and what the trials actually show
A once-daily small-molecule GLP-1 pill with no food restrictions — from Phase 2 proof of concept to the Phase 3 read-outs. The evidence, graded.
- Zepbound vs Wegovy: what the trials actually show
Zepbound (tirzepatide) leads on weight loss in the one head-to-head trial; Wegovy (semaglutide) has the cardiovascular-outcomes approval. An honest comparison.
- Wegovy cost in 2026: list price, self-pay, and the $25 copay
The ~$1,349 list price is one most people don't pay. Self-pay is $199/month for two months then $349 on the pen, $149–$299 for the pill, and as low as $25 with covered insurance.
