These are not interchangeable, and the evidence quality is not close in the way people assume. BPC-157's record is rodent and cell-culture work; there are no published randomized controlled trials in humans for any indication, no established dose, and it is not an approved drug anywhere, with the FDA having flagged it as ineligible for compounding pharmacies in 2023. GHK-Cu has a decades-deep mechanistic literature plus some human data, but that human data is small cosmetic-grade studies of topical copper-peptide creams reporting improvements in skin appearance, which is not a tissue-repair outcome; injected GHK-Cu has no human efficacy trials, no established dosing, and copper can be toxic in excess. The two have never been compared directly, and if your goal is healing a tendon or a gut lining, neither has human outcome evidence to offer.
