HealthHub review

No subscription, prices vary by page

A telehealth company that sells compounded GLP-1s as one-off purchases with no subscription, naming its partner pharmacies but quoting different prices on different pages.

Our verdict

HealthHub suits people who dislike subscriptions. You buy a four-week supply when you want it, the price covers the consultation, medication, supplies and shipping, and you reorder on your own schedule, so there's nothing to cancel. It names six partner compounding pharmacies, which many sellers don't, offers injections, sublingual drops and dissolving tablets, and carries a LegitScript seal. The problem is pricing: the semaglutide page lists the injection at $99, the weight-loss page lists the same injection as a $249 starter plan, and the homepage says weight loss starts at $149. The site also doesn't give a legal company name, and shipped medication isn't refundable. If you like the no-subscription model, confirm the exact price at checkout.

What it is

HealthHub is an online clinic for weight loss, hair loss, testosterone therapy, sexual health, peptides and anti-aging treatments such as NAD⁺ and B12. It says it's licensed in 46 states and has treated more than 10,000 patients. Its homepage describes an in-house licensed pharmacy, while its pricing FAQ lists six partner compounding pharmacies by name, so expect your prescription to come from one of those. Its terms say it connects patients with licensed providers who make independent medical decisions. The site doesn't name the company that runs it or a business address, giving only an email contact, and its terms are short, without the arbitration or governing-law details most telehealth sellers publish.

How it works

You complete a quick intake about your history and goals, and a board-certified provider reviews it and sends a treatment plan by video or secure message. If you're approved, the medication ships from a licensed pharmacy with tracking, usually reaching you within about 48 hours. Because there's no subscription, you decide when to reorder, and HealthHub sends refill reminders and checks in on your progress to adjust your dose; you can switch between semaglutide and tirzepatide if your provider agrees. Some patients may need recent labs. If you book a scheduled consultation, its cancellation policy asks for 24 hours' notice, and a missed appointment forfeits the consultation fee.

Pricing transparency

Each purchase covers the consultation, medication, supplies and shipping. On the semaglutide page, the injection is listed at $99 for the first four weeks, which its FAQ describes as $99 a month, and the sublingual version at $149. On the tirzepatide page, the injection is $199 a month. The weight-loss page, though, lists the semaglutide injection as a $249 four-week starter plan, sublingual semaglutide at $199, the tirzepatide injection at $249, a semaglutide dissolving tablet at $149 and a tirzepatide dissolving tablet at $199, and the homepage says weight-loss care starts at $149. Those figures can't all apply at once, and the site doesn't separate starter prices from refill prices clearly, so check the amount before you pay. There's no subscription or membership, payment is taken when you order, and insurance isn't billed. Once a prescription is approved and shipped, it can't be refunded; consultation cancellations made more than 24 hours ahead may be refunded.

Branded vs compounded

HealthHub offers compounded semaglutide by injection, sublingual drops and dissolving tablet, and compounded tirzepatide by injection and dissolving tablet. Its FAQ names six partner pharmacies: AnazaoHealth in Florida, Tailor Made Compounding in Kentucky, Redrock Pharmacy in Utah, Professional Arts in Louisiana, Perfect RX in Texas and Vios Compounding Pharmacy in Michigan, which lets you look each one up. Its semaglutide FAQ calls the compounded drug the same molecule as Ozempic and Wegovy, but compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and aren't the same products, which its disclaimer acknowledges. The site displays a LegitScript certification seal, and no FDA warning letter has been issued to it. Named pharmacies are useful because you can check each one's state license and inspection history yourself before your first order, and ask HealthHub which of the six will fill yours. Sublingual drops and dissolving tablets avoid needles, but they are newer compounded formats with far less published evidence than weekly injections, so discuss with the provider whether an oral form makes sense for you.
