NowPatient review
Brand-name pens, shipped from England
A U.K.-registered online pharmacy that prescribes brand-name Mounjaro and Wegovy after a live video visit and posts the medication from England to U.S. addresses, customs duties included.
Our verdict
NowPatient is unusual on this list: it's an online pharmacy registered in England that sells brand-name GLP-1s, not compounded ones, to buyers worldwide, including in the U.S. Every prescription follows a free live video consultation with a clinician rather than a questionnaire, and you pay only if a treatment is prescribed. The prices are well below U.S. list prices: one Wegovy pen, which covers a month at the lower doses, is $215.98, and a Mounjaro KwikPen starts at $251.98, each plus $75 for shipping and import duties unless you pay $9.99 a month for its Core+ plan. The catch is what you're buying. These are U.K.-market packs dispensed in England and posted across the Atlantic, not U.S.-labeled medication from a U.S. pharmacy. The FDA generally doesn't allow people to import prescription drugs by mail, so a shipment can be held at customs, and cold-chain pens spend days in transit. NowPatient can suit a buyer who wants a brand-name drug at a lower cash price and accepts those risks; anyone who wants a U.S. pharmacy should look at the manufacturers' own self-pay programs instead.

NowPatient is owned and run by Infohealth Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office in Harrow, and its pharmacy, Infohealth Pharmacy, operates from Coulsdon, Surrey, under registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, the U.K. pharmacy regulator. It also lists a U.S. office in Austin, Texas, with a U.S. phone line. In England it runs NHS pharmacy services; for U.S. users it offers drug-savings tools, including a discount card, manufacturer coupons, a patient-assistance checker and a Canadian pharmacy price comparison. Its private treatments, weight loss among them, are offered globally. The medical team it lists is made up largely of U.K. pharmacist prescribers, with two U.S. board-certified pharmacists and a medical director. A free Core plan gives access to the platform; Core+ costs $9.99 a month and adds free shipping on treatments and unlimited use of its AI health tools.
How it works
You book a free consultation from the treatment page, pick a time, and can choose your clinician by gender and language. Every NowPatient consultation is a live video visit; the company says it doesn't prescribe from questionnaires alone. The Zepbound page describes the clinicians as U.K.- or U.S.-licensed. If the clinician prescribes, the medication is added to your cart; once you pay, the pharmacy in England dispenses it and ships it by tracked courier in cold-chain packaging, with same-day dispatch for orders completed before 3 p.m. on a working day. Consultations need 24 hours' notice to cancel, and two missed appointments temporarily suspend your booking rights. When you stop medication, a free 12-month Weight Loss Treatment Cessation Program adds six check-ins, and a clinician may suggest restarting if you regain more than 5% of your weight.
Pricing transparency
Prices shown to U.S. visitors are in dollars and include customs duties. A Wegovy injection pen is $215.98 at the 0.25, 0.5 and 1 mg strengths, $287.98 at 1.7 mg and $395.98 at 2.4 mg or 7.2 mg. A Mounjaro KwikPen runs from $251.98 at 2.5 mg to $458.98 at 12.5 mg. Each pen covers four weekly doses, so a pen is roughly a month. Shipping and import duties add $75 per injection order, which the Core+ plan at $9.99 a month removes. Wegovy tablets are $99 for 30 tablets at 1.5 mg, rising to $279 at 25 mg, plus $20 shipping, and Foundayo, Saxenda and generic liraglutide are also listed. The consultation is free and you pay only if something is prescribed. There's no membership requirement, but there's also no price lock: the terms let NowPatient correct a mispriced item before accepting your order. Insurance isn't used; for U.S. insurance, coupons and discount cards, NowPatient points you to its separate drug-savings tools.
Branded vs compounded
NowPatient prescribes only brand-name medicines made by Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly: Wegovy injections and tablets, Mounjaro, Saxenda and Foundayo, plus liraglutide, Mysimba and orlistat. It doesn't sell compounded GLP-1s. The packs are the U.K. versions, such as the four-dose Mounjaro KwikPen and the 7.2 mg Wegovy pen, which differ from what a U.S. pharmacy dispenses, and the product pages describe Mounjaro as a weight-loss treatment, which matches its U.K. license rather than its U.S. one. Because the medication is posted from outside the U.S., it isn't the FDA-approved U.S. product, and the FDA generally treats personal imports of prescription drugs as unlawful, so delivery isn't guaranteed. Zepbound isn't offered through its telehealth service. A search of the FDA warning-letter database under NowPatient and Infohealth returned no letters.

The evidence behind what NowPatient prescribes
We grade the molecules, not the marketing. Here is what the human data actually shows for each thing on their menu.
- What the semaglutide weight-loss trials actually showed
STEP 1, STEP 4, and SELECT — the efficacy, the rebound, and the cardiovascular signal, read straight from the primary literature.
- Tirzepatide vs semaglutide for weight loss: what the trials actually support
Most comparisons are cross-trial. Only SURPASS-2 and SURMOUNT-5 randomized one drug against the other — here's the precise distinction.
- Oral semaglutide (Rybelsus): what the PIONEER trials actually showed
A GLP-1 peptide in a pill is hard to pull off. PIONEER 1, 4, and 6 plus OASIS 1 — read straight from the primary literature.

What it publishes up front: Wegovy pen $215.98, Mounjaro KwikPen from $251.98 per month's pen, plus $75 shipping and import duties; Wegovy tablets from $99 plus $20; posted from England. It is cash-pay and states it does not bill insurance. Before you pay, ask in writing about which states it serves and a single monthly price you can check before an intake.
